Well the Leon Cupra is gone and I've now had my Octavia vRS for 2 weeks and all I can say is it is excellent..

1200 miles so far,, its high because I went away last weekend to North Wales for a bit of a holiday..

Much fun driving through Llanberis pass and throu Bety-s-Coed to Llangollen,, superb handling and refinement better on fuel, holds the road, it was far superior than my Leon, which would skitter

across the road with the TCS and ASR light flashing on all the time..

Stereo quality is not as good as the Leon but this has been well

discussed on here...

Just one thing I've noticed is that people in Merc's BMW's and even Fords don't like been overtaken by a Skoda...

Also the most impressive thing about this car is that this is the first car I've had with NO problems with not a squeak or anything

, and as I'm a quite a fussy person who will take a car back for any little thing it is refreshing.....

There is one thing though, I've fitted my Mcgard locking wheel nuts on the car but the standard plastic covers don't fit is there another option before trying to improvise with the standard covers ( which are too big -- the standard locking bolt is slightly bigger in diameter.. )
