Sqaueaky front brakes...

Featured Replies

I have had my VRS now for a coupe pf months and it has had squeaky front discs since i bought it... I have washed the brakes a few time and it has had no affect at all!

Anyone know what it could be?

PS: I have brand new pads on all four corners!

Brake squeal is one of two things, or a combination.

1: Pad oscillation in carriers under braking, fix by using copper slip or brake grease around the edge of the backing plates, don't get any on the friction surface

2: Wrong pad material for rotors in use. Fix use OEM pads.
