About time.

In between driving around forest fires in Western Canada, I had time to read some of Malcolms updates..

It went for a roof chop to replace the cut and shut pillar job.

The bent front portion of the left frame rain was removed - with several thousand spotwelds drilled out to do so.

New one cut, measured, welded.

Fitted.

The main problem with doing any of this work has been not wanting to start chopping the shell up without a replacement roof lined up - without it, the shell will inevitably distort.

So hopefully, this will do the trick assuming the remnants of the C-pillar are long enough. If not I'm going to track one down over here in Canada and ship it back.

My degree/Canadian visa isn't finished until November 2011...so I couldn't care less really. Point is. Once the metal work is done. Not alot to do that takes time.

Anyone had experience of dipping shells?
