SE standard MFSW

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Am happy owner (3 days now) of my 09 Superb 140 SE in steel grey - absolutley love the car :)

I have a quick q if I may; on the multifunction steering wheel (standard wheel) should the button which allows you to change between audio sources be working, or is this not applicable on a standard wheel or this model ? Do I need to set it up ?

Am sorry for q, I love the car but the manuals appear a bit mis-hap as to what should or should not be applicable to each car spec.

Many thanks

Matt

Acc to the manual the upper button on right side - with a circle of arrows - will change the source.

I have the GSM III option so my button in that position controls the phone menu not the radio

Sure, no problem. The dealer seems to think it should be doing something, so they have booked it in for the 1st May. If I had bluetooth it would work for the phone functions apparently, but I do not have this upgrade and therefore according to the manua,l the button with ciruclar arrows should allow changes between media types.

(i.e. perhaps changing between cd, aux and radio).

It does seem silly that this button wouldn't do anything so am hoping that they can shed some light and solve.

Will keep you posted.

:)

Good luck - I must say I would like that function on the MFSW in addition to what I have. Am I greedy? Probably

I must say I do miss the cruise control switches no longer being on the SW (where they were with Superb I)

I read on another forum about this problem, but it looks like everything is working ok.That button is supposed to change only between phone and media. And if you don't have bluetooth,it doesn't do anything sadly.I think it's just a matter of coding to make it switch between radio/aux/SD card/CD etc.

Hi all,

Many thanks for your posts here all very much appreciated.

Well the car went into my dealer on Friday and they called Skoda UK who stated that similar to comments on here, unfortunatley unless you have bluetooth or the car is European fit, the button does nothing.

Apparently in rest of Europe if you have the optional media viewing screen (I assume they meant dvd) it would change to that if installed. As I have neither bluetooth nor this it wont do anything..............Apparently, the dealer said there isn't a code available to enable the button to do what the manual states in the UK for this spec and therefore the manual is incorrect !?!

A little dissapointed that the manual is misleading and does not specify changes between Countries, but am really pleased with rest of the car.

Anyway if anyone has any comments on above, would appreciate any feedback, but as it stands, it does looks like the button on the steering wheel with circular arrows on the SE model, is null and void ???

Thanks again for the responses here - very much appreciated.
