Rattling on drivers side rear (estate)

Featured Replies

Hi,

This has been driving me mad. There is a contstant rattling on the drivers side rear, it definately sounds like it's coming from something on the inside , possible an interior piece.

I've got my suspicions over the upper seatbelt anchorage point, i've tried wobbling it and it has a similar rattle but i haven't had a chance to check it properly yet (me in the back with someone else driving).

Are there any other places people have founded rattled that i can check out? Thanks

I'd also like to add that the rattle turns into a knock when turning right and going over a bump. I've read some people suggest CV joints, but i'm fairly sure this is interior and coming from the back!

Hand brake kn0b/button? Can be a pretty common issue.

I recently found my sunroof squeeked a bit (when the glass was slid all the way back) - but I doubt that is the issue your experiencing.
