Where to buy a new MAF sensor?

Featured Replies

Is there anywhere online I can buy an OEM Bosch MAF sensor for my Octavia? Ta

If its failing, you could try a MAFAM - google for it and tell Ron that Bas sent you, lol.

Cheaper, and since it's not a rover, he offered a money back return if it doesn't work.

Thanks Basil but it looks like it's just for diesels  or have I missed something? What is this MAFAM thing and where do you stash it? It looks a bit bulky. I'm confused… :D

you can almost certainly buy them online at:

1) [my preference] GSF carparts or

2) Euro Car Parts (ECP)

And my next question is, if I've had a remap on a 150bhp 1.8T do I now need the RS MAF which allows for 180bhp or just the standard 150bhp MAF? There seems to be both available and obviusly I want to get the most from the remap

Get the 150bhp 1.8T Maf... as it's the correct one for your engine.

I looked for another place to buy the mafs but @ £75 from the dealer you may as well just pick one up (imo).
