What torque rating can a standard DMF handle????

Recommended Posts

As long as it is mapped properly they can take plenty of torque. I am currently running 396lb/ft through mine. It had to be mapped accordingly because initially the DMF juddered as the torque was too low, but the map was altered so the torque was decreased under 2000 rpm, but then is really strong over that. I know that the life of the DMF will be shorter but the car feels so much better with the DMF over a single mass
