My works is ordering a new car for me....Octavia 1.9 TDI 105, would of liked more but what the hell, at least its im metalic

Thought id say hi before it arrives. I checked out the cars at the dealers, was told its a standard windscreen, but the Skoda website spec says its a Heat Absorbing Windscreen Had an aluminumised thingy in past and it played havoc with my navman and killed the detection range on my Valentine 1 (radar Laser) of gatso to level with the camera !!!

Ill post a question in the Octavia II section but does anyone have any experience of this, will it kill my range ?

Have a few things planned for the estate floor......build it myself rather than buy from dealer..... raised boot floor with gas strut opening, secure compartments and housing sub, amp and electronic crossovers .

Yeh, i cant wait, spent a week or two now searching the net for info, tweaks and ideas, what can i do with my Octavia ?

Still got to choose a colour in next 2 days, thinking the anthracite grey metalic with black onyx interior as they dont do the Octavia SE in race blue ! Wife dont like the Pearl Black, says ill need to wash it all the time! Wonder if there's ever been a poll ?
