Hi Im new here and posting on behalf of a friend of mine he has a octavia 1.8T 20v estate. he has just started having issues with the dials they will work on car start up but then after a minute or two all the needles will just drop sometimes they will then start working again. just woundering if any of you guys have had a similer issue and how to resolve it

There is a problem I've read about with Mk1 Octavia instrument clusters, what year is the car? I'm sure someone will be along shortly who knows more than me

hi its a 2000 plate car hes not had it to long had an issues with the rear screen wash pipes being disconected which i fixed for him.

he also has an issue with a sony aftermarket stereo which keeps losing its memory tried all the constant and ignition wire possabilitys but to no avail.
