43, bald, married, 3 kids, large mortgage--life just doesn't get any better....

Featured Replies

the kids break everything; what they don't destroy, the dog will - i just love my middle aged life - but just bought an 57 fabia 2 1.9tdi...test drove it against an 06 vrs, but the wife didn't like the colour, hence the 105 (bless her) - unfortunately i'm not a computer whizz and so really rubbish at searching websites, but can anyone advise me on whether a 're-map' (?) or a chip will give my little car a bit more 'get up and go'...i found the vrs very smile inducing and wouldnt mind trying to replicate some of that power upgrade into my very sensible looking 105. would like to make a bit more zippy. any advice warmly received - live in hertfordshire so any guidance on local 'techy' people also appreciated.

regards

Love the title - I feel like a kindred spirit! (except my dog is a complete a***hole...)

Welcome mate, I've gone past your stage of life and now have Grandkids.

Can you have fun when I have a growing family? Yes you can! I would loose the dog though, some like to eat cars.

Fabia 2's can be given a bit more oomph so check out Fabia 2 forum and the tuner co's listed here.

thanks for advice people...will put something in the fabia forum and see what shows up....re the dog; couldn't agree more that they are a pain - our friends emigrated to Australia and we said we'd look after their mutt until they settled in and shipped him out...4 yrs and one ruined garden later, i really do have 'silly silly man' stamped on my forehead

Welcome :)
