I have a set of un-fitted anthracite vRS spiders in the garage for exactly the reason I'm not sure about yours. In at least 2 of the pictures they just look dirty.

I love the concept, and in the metal they probably look great, but I don't think they work in photographs.

[Edit] And for more proof that photographs do lie, in all the photographs the car looks splodgy as well because the depth of the gloss on the paint is so great, it's reflecting the surrounding foliage. Nice paintwork:thumbup:[/Edit]

I think that is the problem with 'dark' coloured wheels....

I've given up trying to take photographs of mine. It's black and it has about 25 layers of Collinite 915 on it, so it's just a dark mass of wet-look reflections. I suspect yours is rather similar.

And black wheels are tricky to take pics of...

But look so good in the metal when clean.

I've seen a few fabias with a red and black theme going on, anyone thought of changing it to a red and white? I think a red fabia will look pretty awesome with white alloys, saying that I dunno what else you'd be able to paint white!

looks good! I was thinking of having mine powder coated black, instead I'm going to just get some new wheels! Defo do the grille black! Once you black you will never go back!
