Station ID Question for Irish Columbus Users

Featured Replies

All,

This is going to sould odd but I have the irish radio station "TodayFM" as one of my predefined buttons on my columbus. When I change to todayfm the text "TodayFM" appears on the screen and on the MFD.

The thing is that after a while it changes to "F1 93,5" on screen and MFD.

There is no problem with any other radio station.

I have deleted all presets and started again but to no avail.

Any one else see this or have a solution.

It will be the way that the radio station transmits its RDS data, quiet a few stations around london broadcast constantly chaning RDS ids and it tends to confuse things.

Thanks Mannyo but its not an issue in our other car and I havent seen it in any other car either.

The displays always show "TodayFM"

Hopefully some other members who receive todayfm might be able to see if this is an issue for them also or just me.

Only downside is the columbus unit is an extra on virtually all skodas / vws etc in Ireland.
