Walked to the car this morning to find that some little scrote had smeared a McDonalds BBQ sauce pot all over my drivers side window sometime during the night, this is on top of all of the scratches that I have noticed appearing along the road side of my car!! Looks like they're only picking on my car too as there wasn't any damage to the other cars in the street as far as I could see! Not a happy bunny:mad::mad: at the moment and have informed the local Police but I guess theres not much they can do about it other than log the damage etc.

A simple idea might be to turn the car the other way around... at least that way itll start looking the same all over?

I found someone poured coke on my Astra once, easy enough to wash off but still a hassle.

How about setting up a camcorder from a window to record the scum or lie in wait for them

I'm surprised this happens to Ye Olde Skodas. Although it shouldn't be (as everyone should respect everyone else's property), it would be somewhat more understandable on a brand new nice car like a BMW, Merc, Lexus etc.

Around me it's my neighbours rather than random people off the street. Installed an alarm and then caught the woman 2 doors down smashing eggs on the car (I guess she wasn't expecting it) - which is a shame as I used to think they were one of the few decent neighbours in my block of houses. They later got into a spate of telling their kids to dump rubbish on top of the car etc, nice. Not long ago someone who visits next door kicked a good few panels in and was caught doing so by the police, who just let him off with a caution :thumbdwn: and visitors to neighbours the opposite side also kicked the car a while back. I daren't think what would happen if I got a new car, and daren't risk hiring a car as the rental companies like to charge the cost of repairing the smallest tiniest bits of damage straight to your credit card.

I guess like me you live in an area with a disproportionate level of ch@v underclass scum? - who spend their dole on drugs and wouldn't even have the brains to pass a driving test, never mind the money. Compared to no car, an old Skoda is something to be jealous of to them unfortunately :thumbdwn: Can't wait to move house, lol.

I guess unfortunately, one of the things that provokes them to do it is if they see you caring for your car by cleaning it and doing basic maintenance yourself.

BBQ sauce is still in pots in all McDonalds I've been to MaccyD''s = favourite ch@v hang out unfortunately.

we went to one near work for lunch the other day.. mmm appetising... and you had to pay for it 5p per pot! haha though that was in brum... which is understandable, if its on display.. itll be nicked

I had same problem kids attacking my car! its ok folks it was a peugeot, so i debated with my partner for some time about the reasons then i got told, it was because i was in a same sex relationship. so i did the right thing i informed the police who logged the complaint and again and again till they eventually gave up and gave me cctv! guess what even with the police cctv it still happened! so i took myself to the cop shop with the tape handed it over just for them to say "well our equipment that we supplied is not up to evidential standard" i gave up and moved, in total the the damage to the car was all panels scratched through the paint to the metal, i had 3 hours of fun removing the dent from the roof replaced all the windows in the car twice couldn't leave the house with a sweeping brush to move the glass from round my tires, oh but guess what ITS TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO EXTRACT FINGERPRINTS FROM A NORMAL HOUSE BRICK JUST IN CASE YOU NEEDED TO KNOW!

It was an absolute B-stard to get off as it had dried on! It took about 10 mins of jet washing to get it all off and the poor woindow/door seals arent really up to that kind of punishment so my driver seat was a bit damp! :thumbdwn:

yeah I've got some scumbags round my street, who keep messing around with our cars.

Not long after owning my felicia, some "d*ckless piece of ****" put the rear light in.

2 years pass.

Then my mum bought a new ford transit and 2 weeks later the same person (probably) smashed the rear light on that too.

Then I finish work and my "old mates" have decided to take the ariel out of my felicia, and shove it in the pollen filter!

Oh and some idiot threw coke over my bonnet once too.

And thats why im known as Gothy the chav slayer !

Serious take it from me the cops told me it was impossible to remove fingerprints from a rough surface, he then proceeded to tell me a brick was perfect for vandalising their property if I wanted to!!! Plus it you hit em with a stoplock your going to get their D.N.A on it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo smack em in t'face with brick! cops can't say it was you cause there was only you to witness this insane act of Mr Charver repeatedly smacking his bonce off the brick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus i got arrested for turning up at someone's home with a tyre leaver, apparently it was classed as an offensive weapon oh and its summit to do with premeditation to commit crime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! erm no officer its in my car to change my tyre!!
