Yeah my pics must've come up in the wrong order! :)

It was good to chat to you again. The GT meet sounds like it'll be a good one, I'm really hoping I can make it but I'm away for at least part of that weekend. I always manage to miss the GTs for some reason or other

Some cracking pics there

Didn't bother publishing mine, they were not up to this standard :(

Cracking pics as always Kay,

Thanx guys, glad you like the pics. Shame I managed to miss the Lambo heading off-track right in front of me, but I'm sure it'll happen again :D

At least you seen the Lambo crash I was too busy looking up the track and all I seen was a cloud of dust :(

Still as you say there "will" be a next time

Excellent pics. Looks like better weather than when we were there at end of April, when the Lambo went off the track again....

These two were my favourites - were they both out on the track this time?

Yep they were both out, and in front most of the time as well

Cool stuff

one of them had to retire with a broken drive shaft / gearbox the last time, guess 6-700 bhp will find the weak link in any system. Thought they had awesome acceleration along the straight, and clearly some proper engineering

Will need to go back and see something again over the summer

You must've been standing almost next to me when you took the pics of the Lambo in the tyre wall ... here's mine:

I've been informed that the broken mirror (seen hanging off the car in your pic) cost £2500 to replace

Excellent capture, wonder if the guy on the scaffold got any better ;)

Unfortunately only got down there after the event to see it embedded in the wall for the rest of the race and it get pulled back out

....I missed the lambo into the wall as we were in the centre of the track, then walked down to that corner, and missed the mini rolling at the end of the straight, still, managed to get plenty of shots with a few "decent" ones to tell the story for the day.

Still not sure if we'll go for the BTCC. Enjoyed the day we went as got to walk round the paddock area and it wasn't too busy, but not sure I want to be there when it's jumping.

Pity you missed it, it was quite spectacular

I'll be going up for the BTCC on the Sunday. Saturday's definitely the best day for going to take photos, I don't usually bother taking many on the Sunday as you're lucky to get a good enough view of anything. It's always a great event though.

What happens on the Saturday for the BTCC? Do the touring cars go out or is the support races that day?

Just seen your price of £2,500 :eek2: bet the rear diffuser cost a bit as well.

  • Author

For that price he didn't get it painted either!

The touring cars are out for qualifying on the Saturday, there are some others races on too, but I'm not sure what. It's still a good day out and nowhere near as busy as the Sunday if you want to get pics.
