Goodbye all..

Featured Replies

Well, the Octavia has finally gone after 2 years in my possession. I've not posted for a while but I've been lurking.

So now its gone the lurking will cease too. Its been nice to have been part of the Octavia 1 fraternity. But I'm not going to miss the foibles of the car to be honest.

In the 2 years I had the car I had the following go wrong:

Hazard/Indicator Switch Failure

Major gearbox failure

Wipers seized

Various Electrical problems

Central locking jamming several doors

Exhausts wrecking themselves because they're so close to the ground, to name a few.

I'll miss the car the due to the shear amount of space it had, and the amount of stuff I could fit in the boot. And for its final send off it did a 2500 mile round trip without fault to Northern Spain and back. I won't miss its fuel economy or should I say lack of though!

Thanks for all your help guys over the last 2 years! I maybe back in the future in a brand new Skoda but not for a while. But next time a diesel is a must!

Cheers

iCraig :)

You'll be back!!!
