There are no shortcuts in detailing. As well as fastidious prep work, different paints need different products.

For general clean up, I really like Autoglym Super Resin Polish, applied with a Megs foam applicator pad. It's only £14 for a 500ml large bottle, and you only need a small amount of product for each panel. I find two pea sized blobs are enough to do a roof.

AG UDS for LSP also goes a long way.

Water and a bit of fabric conditioner. I use it as my claying lube now and it feels similar to QD, if a little slippier perhaps.

You can dilute down Meg's Last Touch if you wish. At 2:1 it's still a nice final product.

As Wardy and BRUN have said, it's Megs Last Touch for me, it can be used as a quick detailer, drying aid and clay lube, smells great and I go through the stuff dead quick:

If you're wanting something long lasting as a clay lube, try the Bilt-Hamber clay.

Yes - no problem - although as I said in the other thread there wasn't much to remove.

Fabric conditioner is abrasive isn't it? I would expect it to cause some lovely micro-marring. OK if you're going to do a machine polish I guess but I'm not sure I'd use it.
