My fun's engine's buggered. I finally got around to having a proper look at it and the piston rings / liners are worn as theres exhaust gases coming out of the breather pipe / oil cap. Bugger. I think the previous owner running it without a thermostat is what has killed it. Its a shame as it runs perfectly but im getting sick of putting oil in it every 300 miles.
