I am picking up my 57 plate Octavia II VRS diesel estate this weekend and look forward to participating in the forums.

I have traded in my Focus ST-2 , so it's a bit of downgrade in performance terms but an upgrade as far as economy and space is concerned..

Me 35 , IT Engineer , a new dad to a lovely young daughter.

Bought the Skoda as it can cater for all her stuff and have driven a few Skoda's. Go to the Czech Rep quite regularly as my fiancee is Czech. ( modra=blue btw )

Won't tell you what Skoda means in Czech as I am sure it's well known on here.....

Might remap the Skoda via Superchips but for now just gonna enjoy it.

Cool, congratulations on your little girl. My octavia was bought as a means of transporting our sons huge ammounts of luggage, how do they need so much?

mine was bought to transport wife two daughters and two rough collies, and there is still room for their stuff.
