How long does it take to get a car from Germany?

Just ordered a new Superb from my local dealer to be told that the vehicle is currenly in Germany. Does anyone knw how long it usually takes to get the vehicle to the UK, and is there any way of tracking its progress?

Yes your dealer can check the commission number on VOT to see when it's arrived in UK port.

Just to keep folks updated, ordered the car on the 17/6/09, arrived in UK 24/6/09, commissioned on the 25th and at the Dealers this week end, way to go Simpsons of Colne!:thumbup:
