Cool. Well if you need a hand at some point doing any jobs just give me a shout and I'm more than willing to help... it will be my contribution to your guide dog stuff!

A car like that isn't worth selling as a complete vehicle - no matter how rare it is , it's still just a rusty Felicia and that will never fetch more than a grand no matter how much you spend on it. The Fun was a totally different prospect entirely.

Either line up buyers for a few major components and break it , or do as you are doing and do the bare minimum of work to make it safe and ok to drive and use it as a cheap and comfortable runaround.

That's how I have been looking at it... yes it is a rare model and a shame to break but realistically nobody wants it and speaking to the guy at the skoda garage they have had A LOT of uptake on the scrappage scheme and have run out of the base model fabias which show that it is working that nobody wants a 13 year old rusty skoda... unless I did strike lucky and found a real enthusiast/collector willing to pay over the odds.

As much as I hate the good doctor for saying break it, he's right.

If you have the time and space you can reestore/break a vehicle and make money too.

I sold mine whole as I didn't have the time and space to do that.
