CAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!.....Thud.......

Featured Replies

I came home from work the other evening to find that one of our kittens(born to a stray in our yard) was flattened only a few meters from my driveway. Two others had run off and one had taken shelter in bushes at the entrance to our estate while the other had managed to cross the main road unscathed and was crying loudly at his sister from across the road. Burying a smushed kitty is not fun :rotz:

Thats really bad. Sorry to hear that :o:(

Guess it's just one of those things... animals just can't think the same as us hoomans although saying that I nearly squashed a woman last week as she stepped out from behind a stopped bus talking on her phone without looking... thank god for quick reactions and ABS!

Is your car really worth £1000 for that operation? ANS: Yes because you love it so much.

Id rather a new clutch and put the rest to a map, but mum wouldnt have any of it

You get a 6th sense for that Driving through London day in day out.. Or maybe you just learn to expect it regardless ;)

I was taking friend of mine to work a long time ago who was a policeman, on the way to work I hit a cat that ran out in front of me, it did a 720 roll, got up and scooted to the other side of the road, I saw in the rear view mirror it had collapesed in the gutter and was having major fit.

I was about to stop but my friend said to continue as there nothing could be done and that legally, its only dogs that you have to stop for. I dont know if that is still the case as when this happened we still had dog licences.

If this is the case, then if a dog runs out in the road and you hit it & it does damage to the car, is the dog owner actually liable for the damage ?

yerr but itsn't it just common decency to just stop to see if it had a collar so you can let the owners know? i'd be well ****ed off if one of my cats were smacked, died and just left there to rot!!

although there really ****in me off recently LOL

I feel the point is missed... one less cat!

And I thought this thread was going to about not using the search.....
