Does a pram fit in a Fabia boot?

What kind of pram? :D

errr aren't they a standard size :o

Just thinking long term...

Some fold more than others, others have larger wheels, etc.

I'd wager it'd be a struggle, probably the estate would fair better...

The big ones with removable child car seat do - and they're BIG.

Least it did in my Fiancees fathers 1.2HTP Fabia anyway...

I'll tell you the reasoning behind it - looking at keeping car payments similar to current Corsa...Therefore going to have to take a vRS over 5 years...

We could end up with kids in half that time... :rolleyes:

Ah, but then you're removing the bulkiest part of it, so you're just fitting a frame in...and most frames fold which makes matters easier...

James - get the Fabia vRS, enjoy it while you can, then when there's kids on the way chop it in for a larger older car. In a few years, there'll be plenty of second-hand Octy vRS' on the market for similar value to the Fabia...

Pram or pushchair?

A Pram won't!

A Pushchair or buggy will.

Sorry used to sell them :D

Just don't want to see you walk out with a silvercross pram that would take the furby :) Lovely as they are :D

Depends on your definitions of prams / pushchairs / buggies etc :rolleyes::)

The Fabia:

1) is easily able to get the basic buggies (i.e. McLaren things for slightly older kids) into it;

2) should be ok with majority of pushchairs which have detachable car seats etc on them and some of the Gracco types that don't;

3) will not be able to deal with the "trendy" 4x4 Jeep, three wheeler cross-country mega-prams etc etc unless you are lucky and try it first - only large cars and Octys (with their big boots :thumbup: ) can deal with these with any spare room.

You could do what we did and have an Octy for anything that requires mega loads and have something smaller for the other car (we have an Ibiza but this is ok for all our baby stuff and is the same size as the Fab).

My main advice is go for the decent car you want and don't worry .... it will make you be more sensible about the purchase of the pram rather than going for something stupidly sized and impractical :D

To give you some idea can get the wifes wheelchair in the boot of my fabia without needing to take out shelf or seats by taking wheels off and dropping the back. On the wifes estate you can get it in by just dropping the back. The estate is huge and the hatch is good for its class.The wifes chair will not get close to fitting in a corsa, have tried it! The wifes wheels are 24inch diameter and will lie flat in the boot of the hatch

:eek: 24 inches ?!?

Fluffy Bunny has a sprog and a Fabia vrs so she must fit a buggy/pram in somewhere.
