Here is a challanging question

Featured Replies

Hi all, I can fix most things on my car being an engineer but this is something I have never come across.

Past few weeks my rear drivers side door lock was not operating, so I took the outer and inner door card off and removed the door lock. Inspected and re-gressed as it was seized right up. Put it back in and tested all ok!

Untill today went to open the door and the door pin come up but it just wont open. I have tried everything to open the door but no joy!

How the hell am I going to get it open to replace this mech with out causing any damage?????

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Vehicle locksmith. It can be opened with 'Pikey' bar without damaging the door.

Great thread but I need to get the door open to release the parts hes on about. Looks like im going to have to take the panels off with the door closed from inside the car and try and frig the lock. Looks like a bit*h of a job lol! Bloody electrics!

Go for the locksmith first

A pikey bar is what Pikeys use to break into and steal your car...
