need more power

If I wanted a 1.8T I'd get one, but I don't. Diesel is the way forward and all that........

Forgot to mention that out of the 100bhp gain the leather interior added a pub bhp of 20. Well worth it ;)

diesel is only good for mpg and yes i've owned a diesel :D

Im sure both cars are classed as Hatchbacks

Carl:thumbup:

hey i didnt say its was'nt a hatch back. but its a huge hatchback!!! compaired to the ST!

This thread is epic! May I join the banter.....

A diesel car will never be a drivers car, because it's a diesel car. Quote torque and mpg all you like, but it's still about as exciting to drive as a dead cow. Enjoyment comes from revs, engine note and throttle response. Diesel is the future..... if your a farmer.

Fords are a bit too fordy for me. I mean, it's a ford. There's this stigma attached to fast ford drivers too. "Look at me in my orange ford, with my stupid wings, and my 14 england flags sticking out of every automotive orifice." Classy.

You can modify any car to be as fast as any other car (jet engined mini for example), so power and pace have nothing to do with it. I'm just proud to drive a Skoda........

.....because Czech women are hot.

that is shame to be done by a ford focus ST they not that quick unless it the RS. where your m8 at? let me at him in my mk1 occy vrs.

that makes the skoda's very slow then seeing as the ST is faster in every way as standard.
