Based on the RAC rated list of car reviews which puts Fabias top overall, I've just bought a used frugal ferbie 1.9sdi estate from Skoda dealer Valley Services, Llandysul, West Wales. Excellent dealership, excellent car. Lovely handling.

Performance much better than I expected from reading some reviews that decried its acceleration. I get 0-60mph in about 14-15 seconds, NOT in almost 20 seconds as in the spec brochure.

I'm a fan of diesels so I presume this is because a diesel engine takes up to 50k miles before its run in and fully loose and mine has 36k on the clock.

I look forward to many more enjoyable miles.

Dont think the performance stats will get any better with your car in its current state. At 36k, it will be run in nicely now.
