Replacement alloys and tyres

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I guess this will have been asked a lot of times.

I'm getting ready for at least 2 new tyres on my 03 vrs octavia.

The alloys are also showing their age and I'm thinking it would be nice to have a new set of alloys and tyres.

Does anyone recommend a certain type or place to get them.

Thanks all, Daz.

Refurb the spiders and get some decent rubber from camskill is the only way to go imo

I have to agree, the spiders really suite the car. You can always get them refurbed a different colour if you're getting bored with them. Incidentally I have a set of these collecting dust in my garage : https://topgear.co.uk/acatalog/RS5_SM.jpg

anyone got any opinions on what they would look like on a vRS?

I've always found the spiders a pain to clean, especially the back ones for some reason which are now very pitted from brake dust ?

The front ones aren't as bad which I've always found strange as the front brakes do most of the work.

ps, those alloys look nice - 8 stud holes !
