The village of coniston with its wide variety of shops, cafes, pubs, and hotels is within easy walking distance. Nearby there is horse riding, and the lake provides boating and fishing facilities.The site has lake shore access.

dogs are fine if kept on a lead..... I would assume you could pay on arrival, or with the telephone number..... depending on how many we get, I assume we can all be together, but I was gonna have a look at the list we get, then give 'em a ring and book an "area" under Briskoda......

Thanks for organising this. We has stayed here a couple of times and it's a pretty nice site right next to the lake. I seem to remember it is just cash but can't be sure but the village isn't far to nip to a cash machine.

There is also a pub just up the farm track withing staggering distance although a torch is needed if coming back late!

Thought we might not be able to make this at first but think we can now!

Don't mean to be miserable but is the bank holiday not the following weekend?

hmmm i confused now as when i booked off the 24-28 auguest at work i was told the 24th was a bank holiday, better check this as a few places are saying its not.... s#$% @#$£% c*3! better get this checked out today at work

The 31st is the Bank Holiday this year. As late as it can be apparently......obviously.
