I had one of the rare 205 GTI autos, which were a cancelled order for japan and came with A/C.......

There was around 250 of the 205 AUTOS, and 250 309 AUTOS....

I think the MKI/MK II Golf and the 205's were much of a muchness in terms of crash protection, in that they didn't really offer much.
