TDi suspension

Featured Replies

Hey all

Really want to fix a decent suspension kit on my '06 Fabia TDi.. Any ideas on decent compromises between price and quality that would work well with the car? Wouldn't like to spend much more than £350...

Cheers folks

For that money you will end up with worse suspension than what's on there as standard from the factory. Start messing with the steering geometry and it can get expensive, and dangerous. Factory springs allow for the weight of the diesel engine.

Cheers for that,

A mate of mine is offering me a full set of Seat Ibiza Cupra (05 model year) shocks with 25 mil eibach springs. He thinks they will bolt straight on.. Any ideas on this or would the vRS set up be better as it allows for the extra weight of the derv lump?? In saying that it's only a wee three potter lol

What about Koni FSDs?

However I bet they are more than £350.
