Hi, I have a LG KU990i mobile phone which includes an MP3 player. Can anyone advise on how to connect it to the socket near the handbrake on my new Fabia, please.

Try posting this in the Fabia ii forum, more likely to get a knowledgeable response there (It is a new shape Fabia your on about, isn't it?)

May be wrong but I think the Radio has to be in " Aux " mode, Via the Menu, I think...................Maybe................You will of course need a cable from the phone to the socket though, Skoda dealer or Halfrauds

You are indeed correct regarding having to select `Aux` mode. My problem is not knowing what cable I need in order to couple them together.

A fabia mk1 doesn't have a socket here. A fabia mkII (be it a fabia 1, 2 or 3) does have a socket here.

AFAIK, it only acts as a line in, and cannot control the device plugged into it so assuming your phone has a standard headphone jack socket, you'll be looking for a mini-jack to mini-jack lead.

Careful, don't expect too much now, remember where you are.............

You'll need a cable made for the phone that (more than likely) goes to a 3.5mm stereo jack plug.. but I'm guessing!! These are just the most common connecters used but you'll prob find LG don't actually make the right lead and it'll be an eBay job

They are easy to obtain, they must be, I have plenty hanging around
