I think I'll be there about 10.30'ish too. I'm leaving where I am now (arrived in Leic OK yesterday) at about 9.30.

Going into Market Harborough today to buy some wax and hopefully I'll be able to get a coat on today..

I'll probably be there between 10.30 and 11. Can't wait to see all who's coming. Hopefully my car will be a bit cleaner than it was today at Jabba's!

Jason, if your car is clean when you get to the Shovel, I'll let you use my lovely Swissol wax Any other takers? Whole car takes about 20 mins to do.

Mine unfortunately will be the grubby black 1.4 as I haven't had a chance to give it a clean, may try and pressure wash it in the morning (the neighbours will love me pressure washig a car at 0730 on a Sunday morning

I'd love to see what Swissol can do.... will wash mine either in a bit or tomorrow morning - but I fear the Fosse Way may spoil its appearance by the time I get to Brum...

Woohoo! The rain has stopped and my car is all Autoglym shampood and polished! What a difference a couple of hours make.

Have been torn between buying Swissol, Zymol or Meguirs. Be interesting to see how the Swissol comes up!

Aaargh! I spend all fscking day, cleaning, rinsing, drying, waxing, rubbing, buffing and sweating and now it is raining! Hopefully the AutoGlym stands up to it

And if it doesn't, I'll be the first to volunteer for the Swissol stuff

I took the plunge yesterday & phoned Mark at Swissol.

He recommended what products I needed, took my address & they arrived this morning.

So I gave the car a good wash using the Swissol Wash, Pre-Cleaned the paint using the cleaner solution, gave it a wax, & guess what ??

It looks Bloody Amazing !!!

But you will see that tomorrow !!

Hmmmm.... this waxing lark is obviously catching!

Gave mine *two* normal washes today, used some bug/tar removers and then waxed it... the birds have stayed away from it so far, so hopefully it won't look too shabby by the time SWMBO and I arrive tomorrow!

Hopefully roads will be ok tomorrow - A14 for most of the journey, so will keep an eye out for any sticked Skodas Apart from JaneC of course, as I'll be expecting to see her somewhere on the journey...

I think you can get a cream to remove hairs from your legs a lot easier than cleaning, rinsing, drying waxing, rubbing, buffing and sweating:D

Now you mention it I think it did rain while I was giving mine a clean in the garage
