hi all!...VRS badges

Featured Replies

hello! been on the site a while but i have been rather quiet!

im replacing my vrs badges next week and wanted to know what glue im better off using because i dont want anything reacting with the paintwork! :D

my cars coming along nicely il get some photos up after next week when this installment is done! any brisky members around the lincolnshire area?

Im in Stamford which is just about Lincolnshire :)

I'd recommend double sided sticky rather than glue, just incase they ever need to come off again.

As said above get some double sided sticky tape from a local bodyshop

I am going to, at some point this summer, move my rear badges and I'm not sure what glue to use. I was thinking of trying some black silicone sealant mastic stuff or try to find some of that double sided tape as mentioned above.

I think for my grill badge I will use Araldite or Superglue. I will have a go tomorrow.

Just buy some new badges that already have the adhesive on them

I could do that, but they are about £10 from the stealer. I don't want to pay that because I'm a skin flint.

pay it, some quality tape is gonna be £3+

body trim tape from your local auto shop is good, just clean the old stuff off the badges and put new tape on and trim it to shape. perfect :)

ah okay cheers guys il try the tape!

rear view mirror sticky pads work just fine as well; or even number plate sticky strips
