Ok i've been doing loads of searching lately (especially whilst chasing a phantom boost leak) for a KO4 Turbo. Even more jealous now Harry has found one :(

Looked on Fleabay and there are a few on there but they are all KO4 225bhp turbo's. I am assuming this is the wrong one for a TFSi

I know the Designation is KO4-64 however searching for that reveals nothing. Ive even tried the following

Audi S3 8P KO4 Turbo - Reveals Nothing

Seat Cupra KO4 Turbo - Reveals nothing

This is both on Google and Ebay. On google i get lots of links to MK5 forums etc. But i can't for the life of me find where any of these are for sale.

Anyone know what the cost of a New KO4 direct from a VAG Dealer?

Basically all i need is Turbo, Injectors (£400ish for all 4) and Software (£150iirc). The whole lot could be done for about £2k including install with a new Turbo. Less if i fit the Turbo myself. I have all the other mods required (S3 Intercooler, Fuel Pump Internals, DV Relocation Kit etc)

That's what I've been quoted from JKM, and I am stage2+ as you know. I don't have an upgraded intercooler or DV relocation tho. That includes all parts needed, labour and testing etc.

S3 cooler will cost around £400 iirc

DV relocation Kit will cost around £150 for parts

Fitting of the Cooler is a right job. Took me about 7 hours

My advice would be to keep an eye out on ebay, always a few S3's being stripped and parts sold

Brand new cooler and hoses is £274.

Or do as I did and buy one from Ebay but beware as the hoses are £75. :eek:

So true and also explains why I'm driving a TDI.

I can ask around for you. They're made round here, and, at least for the TDI ones, I've seen much cheaper prices than what I've read over here.

Just make sure it's a TFSi one :P

Bummer. I was told the supplier can provide any turbo for the TDIs but only up to K03 for the TFSI, which I guess is less than what you need.

One thing is holding me back from this, looking at the yank forums who a lot have done this mod is the risk of bending the rods. Rods have been bent.

The yanks are apparently going for the S3 KO4 which is 06F 145 702 C

I was just told earlier both of those weren't Garret, but KKK.
