VRS SE Prices

Featured Replies

Hi all

Im looking at selling my Ibiza and buying a vrs , ive fell in love with the Blue of the SE and decided i would like one

Ive found on for sale very local to me

Its 2007 07 , Done 23K , looks immaculate ( im not sure what number it is)

I was just wondering if somebody could give me an approx figure to how much the car should be worth?

Autotrader says about 10k dealer or 9 private but in the current climate should be able to haggle that down

dealers are buying them at 6500-7500 i know from painful expierience so a bit of room for manuver on the price haggle hard bud

Got mine back in June for £8400 privately. Seller had been offered £8200 from a Skoda dealer - May 07 with 14k miles on it and FSSH.

HTH

I wont be selling mine any time soon but I was told by hobins that if I ever wanted to sell it to come to them first as they still get inquires about them.

Hiya mate,,,,Biggest piece of buying advice,,,get a leather interior. The Vrs seats mark unbelievably easily, its the worst part of the car by a mile.

Thats why im looking at the SE , a mate of mine from tdisport has got a Yellow one with leather interior tho

i know some of the non SE ones had leather aswell but there hard to find

you could always get them done by a pro company - problem is it normally costs the amount of the SE difference.

A car that could have been bought brand new from Broadspeed for £12,500 otr. At £9,500 the dealer is suggesting it's lost less than 25% of its value from new over 2 and a bit years, in the midst of a huge recession, which is a load of cobblers.

At 3 years old these will be worth 7 grand, which is a fantastic residual for a small car, so work out what it's worth to you based on that.

It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I was surfing the net yesterday getting quotes for a replacement for my vRS SE and one of the sites quoted a trade price of £7020 for it. Part ex should be a little higher - maybe £7500. However, the sale price from a dealer still appears to be £9000-£9500 so there should be a fair margin for negotiation.

Bought mine in may for 9995 from the stealer with a private plate.

good luck trying to find one for around £7k, the SE is still quite desired and very easy to sell at a higher cost than the regular vRS. i think you'll be lucky to find one for any less than £8500
