no new dampers,just springs,on the RS? if so,whats happened to the handling? (obviously the stilted look will be improved)

Yep, I know Ade Adams has. Handling seemed sharper than standard and it looked much better!

I used eibach springs on my old TDI on OEM dampers and it was sharp, but harsh too. I don't regret using those springs with the dampers in my current car - much more pleasant ride, and althought slightly more roll, its a much better package all round!

(on the vRS I believe the OEM dampers are better though)

i am glad you have said that about the dampers,i just want it as cheap as i can!

speak to Fab16v he has the eibach vRS springs on std dampers....
