Hi all,

Newbie here. I've had a few problems in the electrics department on mu Superb 1.9 Tdi. I've done a fix on the CCM wiring but I'm still having problems.

Lights on buzzer not working if lights are on and I open the door.

Interior lights not working when I open the drivers door from inside with engine running/not running or key removed.

Interior lights do work if the passenger door is opened provided the engine is running.

I've only fixed wiring nodes in front passenger well and towards the front off the car. The loom seems dry along the sill towards the front passenger seat belt. Do I need to check wiring from front passenger seatbelt area to back seat?

Am I looking in the wrong area of the car, should I be checking out the switches in the drivers door. If so can anyone point me to a link with pics of how to take off drivers door trim.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update.

Had the car at a Skoda dealer today. Their computer showed both front doors "closed" even though we were opening and closing them. They reckon 2 new electrical locking units needed. Lots of dosh to strip down doors and replace units. Is it coincidence that both units have failed at the same tiem or is their any area of wiring I should be looking at, beside the nodes round the CCM module
