oops, I did it again....

Wotcha. Are you still in "the" ambiente or another one?

Nah, that stopped working so I kept it for a while with a view to getting it back on the road when the OH passed her driving test, but it proceeded to rot in the interim at a surprising rate...ended up cutting my losses and scrapping it. Well, I always said I'd keep it until it died, just didn't expect it to be so soon...

Mine's a Micra SR, hers is a Fiat 500 (as you might've guessed, we've not had any more kids ;) )

hehe, the 500 is a giggle, drove one when looking at the Mini! No more kids here, we figured 3 was enough to ensure my genes continue. We did get married at Easter tho, only engaged for 12years lol.

Did the Micra replace the Smart? I had a roadster for a while, great fun, even the gearbox, but it wasn't built like a merc that's for sure.

How are the kitties? We'll have to catch up for a beer sometime.

Welcome back :)

so this one going "off road" like the ambulance? :)

how's your karting skills? :)

 I'll have to dig out riverbank4x4.mov, if it isn't still shared on here somewhere?

My karting skills? Well I was in the final of the last Brisky karting meet I did, and put it on pole on a new circuit for a work event last year, so I can hold my own.

Only got the 1.2 engine in the 500 so it's not exactly pulse-racing stuff, but it is a nice little chuckable car and it's hard to argue with £35 road tax. The Micra replaced the Smart - the Smart wouldn't die no matter how badly I treated it, but the practical limitations of a two-seater started to show. From what I've heard, the Smarts are built to the same quality as Mercs, but that reflects badly on Mercs rather than well on Smarts. ;)

Congrats on getting married, at least you didn't rush into it... Kitties are still doing fine, beer sounds good!

We had a Merc Vaneo at the same time as the Roadster, and it was definately made of better components. It wasn't as much fun to drive tho!

Most interesting was service at MB dealers - even the vaneo used to get coffee / how are you today / would you like a lift into town, whereas the Smart service desk was "down there" and it was checked in and "bye!"
