Only problem I've had is self inflicted really.

Broken cool box flappy lid thing when I left it open and smacked my shin on it getting out of the car..DON'T try it :weeping:

Oh nearly forgot..groaning rear brakes in reverse. Must pm Anotherbadname to find out where he got his problem solving pads from.

All in all, no matter what SOME of the Octavia owners in here say, it is a truly stunning value for money car, excellent build quality, superb fuel consumption, fantastic performance...even if it was petrol driven...low insurance, and great rarity value!

I just hope Skoda keep up their high standards in producing a fine range of cars for everyone.

mine two three months and 8500 miles love it thinking of getting an octy too for SWMBO.... VRS power per pound must be the cheapest well built car arround... why would you buy a VW for the extra cash?
