DMF ?? Vrs problem ??

Featured Replies

Was looking around local garages this week and found a gorgeous rav4 diesel with all the kit incl leather for good money.

Did a bit of research and snooped around the toyota owners forum and found a scarey massive thread moaning about dual mass flywheels going at 60k on loads of rav4 d4d's, costing the owners 1000's.

Does the vrs suffer from this problem at all ??

BTW keeping the vrs now !!!!!!

Isn't the RAV4 a bit, uh... girly?!

yeah i always thought that ,,this one is a big black thing,,looks like a drug dealer had it !!!

Wont be going near it anyway,,horrible threads in their forums

DMF's are on nearly every modern diesel now, and as such the VRS is fitted with one. I had mine go as 24,000 but it's dependant on how you drive. The last owner must have floor it from low revs at lot to kill one that quickly...

RAV4, haha, you "mummy" :P

RAV4 was really bad for eating DMF especially if used for towing.
