I fit stereo's as part of my job. I've heard loads of setup's and there are only a couple of makes i would put my hand on my heart and recommend - Blaupunkt for un-amped - Alpine Type-R's with a 250W amp. Both are good setups. But definately need to upgrade the rear speakers too!

If you want a good soundstage (which is essential if you want good quality sound) it would be preferable to completely disconnect the rear speakers. They aren't required and degrade the quality of your set-up.

Ignore any complaints from passengers in the back and tell 'em the system is set up for you!

What I ment was if you were keeping the rear speakers connected then they would definately need upgraded!
