I want my car back :(

Featured Replies

[RANT]My car is in the paint shop and they have given me a Fabia 1.4TDi 80 to drive in the meantime. TBH I expected more from that little engine. I actually checked under the bonnet to see if there was in-fact a turbo... I cant help but wonder why they ever made that engine. My Fabia vRS gets better mpg, its got the most uncomfortable seats in the world and the steering is far too light im not going to even start on the suspension. The only thing I like more than mines is the head unit.

So from what I can gather it has poor market appeal, but sells well?

Why did they not stick a 1.2 petrol in there and have similar MPG?[/Rant]

Aw well least my car will feel like an 'beast' when i get it back...

Spoiled by the VRS brilliance  I remember when I 1st drove a 1.4 TDi Polo how if went like stink

Imagine how I feel, when I go from my 1098cc Morris 1000 Traveller (0-60 on a calendar)

and then jump into the VRS "Steady Tiger"

I know what you mean about that engine. Sounds so good on paper but in reality it's not good at all. Seem to have to rag it to go anywhere.

They do sound meaty when you rag the b0llox off them which you have to, to go anywhere!

I hated the 1.2 when I had one as a courtesy car... no go in it at all...
