stuppppid fabia radio!!

Featured Replies

God knows whats happened to it! think its something to do with the signal wire!

but all of a sudden everytime i turn ignition off and remove the key the radio doesn't turn off! :thumbdwn: and also ever since this started my sub and amp just wont turn on either and have no power going to them! need to whip the Head unit out i guess to have a look!

BUT if its not the signal wire fallen out/come loose what else could it be!?

X Contact on ignition switch usually causes this.

Check the fuse in the fusebox for the switched supply. The symptoms you describe are also true of a blown fuse on the switched 12v supply to the radio.

Its a fuse. Mine did this

is it fuse 45 i think in the fusebox for the radio itself? or is there another i should check?

Looking at the Fabia manual, you want to check fuse 45 (20 Amps), and also fuse 10 (5 Amps). I suspect its the second one thats failed.

Dont forget the manual is designed for LHD so you need to mirror the diagram.
