Mornin' All,

I recently posted about a droning sound coming from the car, with no loss of power or performance, however when the car drives above 30mph it sounds like an aeroplane in mid flight. Having asked a few people for advice and let them experience the noise, general feeling is that it's most likely the wheel bearing/plate (excuse my ignorance) !!

Can anyone advise what i should be looking to pay an independant garage if it is indeed wheel bearing related? The car is a 2005 with 51K miles and generally in fine order.

Hi i had my front nearside bearing done not too long ago. If you buy original i seem to remember the cost was around £50 plus fitting.
