Just ordered a Kenwood KDC-PSW9527, do I need a Aerial amplifier for my vrs furby?

I did - I believe its fact that you need a booster for ANY after market HU with all VAG cars. I got one, needed for both my Kenwood and current Pioneer.

I think the booster's true use is in rural areas. It was rubbish without the booster with my first Kenny, but will admit to not trying without the booster with my 8400MP... May give it a go for a laugh/experiment.

I have found that you only need the booster if you want to tune into AM like 5Live. Most FM stations seem to work fine without it. Easy to fit later if you feel you need it.
