Rear Window Washer

Featured Replies

Anytime i use it it never soaks the whole window. It'll trickle out skoosh a bit higher then trickle. It's also more foamy

Topped up the wash fluid last week. Hardly used it and the lights on telling me i need wash fluid

Anyone shed some light? I hate the design of the rear washer on Vag's!

But with winter coming i'd like it working as it should

Thanks

Paul

Sounds like you've gotta popped pipe connection.. I've had this on two Fabia's now and the one that normally causes a trickle on the rear (rather then total failure) is under the trim behind the passenger side rear seat.. Do it soon as if it is this one it'll be peeing most the water into and under the rear seat and foot well when you spray.

There's a whole thread on the locations and how to reconnect them.. This ones quite easy but requires a little dismantling. :)

The "my car is held together with gaffer tape" school of mechanics is right up my street:rofl:

Much like "if you can' fix it with a lump hammer, then it is an electrical problem"

Checked the suggested spot. No water and carpets bone dry. Not smelled screen wash in the car either unless it's through the vents after using the skooshers

Wheres the other failure location?
