i turned down a piece of stainless steel bar on my lathe so it fitted into the bush and around the periphery of the outer bush casing to use as a 'pusher' to push it out, it was not going to budge one bit, it took about 30 tons on my hydrualic press then it just popped and the whole thing shattered... surprisingly even though the console was split in half around the bush, it would still not come off even with good old fashioned analogue percussive persuasion
