, Thinking of trading in my Octy 4x4 for a new Scout. Can you answer a few questions for me

1 is Black a good colour to have (I have Biege at the moment)

2 would silver rails look good on Black

3 and can any body recommend the Columbus Sat Nav System

black would probably look nice but the only thing I've found with a black car is that all marks show up alot on it. I've seen a few A4's that are black with silver and they look ok but not seen the Octi.

I thought about black, but ordered Anthracite in the end.

Pick it up this week so cant really tell you if I made a good choice until I get it.

I guess silver RR's may look a bit weird since there is no silver detailing round the windows etc. to balance it against. I stuck to black RR's.

Had a black mk1 which looked great , but it had black mouldings .

Problem with the Scout is the fact that it has such a vast area of grey plastic moulding ( great protection though ) which IMHO does not sit well with jet black .

However the anthracite really looks far more coordinated .... ( I sound like an old woman ) ..... do not answer .

ive had mine since feb and it takes alot of cleaning but it does look nice in black:thumbup:

Yes, Yes, No (Columbus is expensive and theft risk is enormous on the continent).

Have you thought about white?

I saw a white facelift Scout in Prague a few weeks ago, looked really good and white is a "no cost option" too.

Nice! I really wanted red, but the deal on Storm Blue was just too good to miss....

The only visible optional extra would be the Onyx Alcantara / Leather.

I'm very, very pleased with it.

Just ordered Anthracite and now I've seen the pictures I can't wait. The Alcantara is a very expensive option but looks fantastic.

As for roof rails, I think black every time, and nearly didn't order my allroad in Lava Grey because they no longer do black roof rails for MY09 Audis. Still looks a bit hearse-like with the bling, but I'll let my wife take that while I stick with the Scout.
