the dash creak/rattle is a common problem. use the search function at the top of the page, and put in dashboard creak. there is a great how to by pembo somewhere in the results you get.

you can fit any single or double DIN to the fabia space wise, but if you go the single DIN route you can keep the cubby hole or drawer (depending on what spec level your fabia is). The fascia adaptor available from Skoda dealers for single DIN head units is the one to go for, as it is a much better fit than the aftermarket ones and is cheaper IIRC.

As to what ICE, check out the ICE section and hit that search button:D

You may have to cut some of the support strutsat the back of the radio hole depending on your head unit, and you also may need an antenna adaptor.

If you're planning to buy a dvd head unit, i will have a blaupunkt ivms 7002 chicago unit with dx-v navigation and unused bumper camera coming out of my 51 plate fabia shortly. Its single din flip out screen with a single din sat nav cd unit and a brainbox that fits perfectly in the little secret compartment in the glovebox.
