Its a mission to loose weight and keep usability.

Get rid of the back box, that will save weight.

Get rid of the spare, and drive round with one of those puncher repair cans.

Get rid of sound deading.

Get smaller wing mirrors to reduse weught and drag.

Depends how much you want to loose and how extream.

Why stop there? You only need a drivers seat, and that should be carbon fibre. Windows - they should be plastic. Power steering pump, air con, dash, radio etc all need to go. And its amazing how much metal you can remove from inner door skins etc with a hole cutter :P
