MY turbo is on its way out on my 54reg octy vrs as there is alot of play in the shaft and when i put my foot down there is quite alot of smoke!!

And upon opening the bonnet i can see smoke from around the turbo area :thumbdwn:

So im guessing my turbo is fooked!!

Does anybody know what turbo i need? as i think its a k03s

Also what other cars have a k03s turbo on them which will fit straight on??

take it off mate and get it recond and Hybrided lol.

it is the K03s not sure what other cars have them, pos the TT190?210? not too sure

Leons with k03s are also named Top Sport or FR in some countries, so those would be good too. Also, a friend with the AUM golf engine (150bhp) says he's got a k03s in there.

yep any 1.8t circa 2002 will have a k03s, same platform i.e transverse engined, mines off a 55plate new beetle lol
